I also tracked down the scientists who appeared on television in what seemed like an endorsement of Spore's scientific content on the National Geographic channel. They said they had been led to believe that the interviews were for a straight documentary about "developmental evolutionary" science rather than a video promoting a computer game. "It's an outrage," says Neil Shubin, a paleontologist at the University of Chicago in Illinois, who worries that science has been "hijacked" to promote a product.

You made some decent points there. I checked on the internet
for more information about the issue and found most people will go
along with your views on this site.

Very good site you have here but I was wondering if you knew of any community forums that cover the same topics talked about here?
I'd really like to be a part of group where I can get responses from other knowledgeable people that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Thanks a lot!
